Email Outage – Updated
Our email service provider has fully restored service.
Service was partially restored as of the afternoon of the 9th and fully restored as of the morning of the 10th; however, there was a huge backlog of incoming email being stored on the proxy server that wasn’t fully released until today. In addition, the outbound message queue (emails that we have sent that are waiting to be released to the Internet) remains quite backlogged, but it will be caught up by the end of today. So, many of you will be receiving today emails that were sent previously (Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday) and held on the servers’ outbound message queues.
Our apologies for the inconvenience, but we are aware of the specific circumstances regarding our email provider’s outage and they handled a difficult situation fairly well with no loss in emails.

After experiencing intermittent problems last night, Wicked Eden has been experiencing an email system outage all day (Sunday) via our email hosting provider in Canada. Our usually reliable email hosting provider doesn’t seem to have a clue what is wrong, as it is a system wide problem affecting all their thousands of clients. Therefore, we have no ETA for problem resolution.
Fortunately, any email sent to any valid Wicked Eden email address should be captured by the proxy servers and delivered once the email system is back up. If this isn’t the case, you should receive a bounce message should your email provider be unable to deliver the email after its maximum number of attempts/hours permitted.
An update will be provided as soon as we have one to give.
