Pretty Little Marks

I like them. I like them a lot.

But before we get to far into my enjoyment of them, lets establish what it is exactly that I’m taking about.

When I say markings, I mean the bruises, welts, rope burn, love bites, even broken skin, that is left behind after a round of good, hard play. The session usually has to be pretty intense in order to leave it’s evidence on flesh, but let’s remember that everyone marks differently. What might leave behind a giant bruise on one person might feel like a light tap to another.

People tend to have very visceral reactions when it comes to the topic of being marked. Some people truly enjoy earning them, taking serious amounts of pain in order to flaunt their marks as a sort of badge of honor. Others are absolutely disgusted by the idea of being marked, and often times list it as a hard limit.

Personally, I find them to be beautiful reminders of the pleasurable (and sometimes harsh) time you’ve spent in my care. I am a sadist, and I do get a monumental amount of joy out of inflicting the pain itself. However, knowing that I’m sending you home with a sore ass or aching balls brings a smile to my face. Just imagine, I’ve spent a couple hours toying with your nipple, leaving them tender and puffy. They’ll probably be a little sensitive for the next couple of days and every time you pull on your shirt, take a shower or brush your chest up against someone, you get a nice little twinge and think about all of the wicked things I did to you. It will keep you mind of me, which is exactly how I like it.

As a bottom, I don’t mind marks – I don’t feel particularly intense about them either way. Unfortunately, as a fetish model and video performer, it can be something of a difficulty. After all, it’s a bit hard to produce an ass fetish clip with bright purple spots peeking out from behind my thong 🙂 Nevertheless, I used to really enjoy the little painful twinges that came after some hardcore corporal play – so I can certainly sympathize with all my “victims”.

For those of you who are like me and enjoy heavy pain play and can’t have marks, or simply mark easily, here are a few tips to treat and prevent marking:

– Moisturize! The dyer your skin, the easier it will break. Lotion yourself thoroughly at least once a day (several times if it’s particularly dry weather).

– Drink lots of water. Staying hydrated will keep your skin healthy and allow it to retain more moisture.

– Make sure you have a thorough warm up. The more time you spend prepping your flesh to take pain, the more pain it can actually endure.

– Take Bromelain! Bromelain is an extract derived from the stems of pineapples. You can pick it up in pill form (you can also get it as a chewable tablet) from any local pharmacy. It contains a type of enzyme that causes you to process protein more effectively, which will allow you to heal more quickly.

– If you are already marked, stop by any CVS/Walgreens/Rite Aid or the like and pick up a bottle of arnica gel. It will make your bruises heal twice as fast and leave your skin soft and hydrated.
